Autumnal Wedding in Sauerland, Germany || Maren and Marc || Werdohl

As the sun peeked over the mountains illuminating the golden fall leaves, and the calming sound of the river lulled through the landscape, Marc heard Maren gently say his name from behind him. When he turned around, he saw his beautiful and glowing bride all dressed in white and one of the widest and most genuine smiles pulled across his face.
Already at Maren and Marc’s engagement session I felt that their love for each other was truly something special, and I have been looking forward to their wedding day for months! This week I made the drive down from Flensburg to Werdohl in Sauerland in order to capture their wedding, and it was such a pleasure to be able to attend as their photographer!
Maren and Marc were wedded in the Werdohl city hall, a gorgeous old building, clothed in climbing ivy and nestled in the mountains in, Germany. Their ceremony was filled with laughter and happy tears, as they became husband and wife surrounded by loving friends and family.
Maren and Marc are the kind of couple that seems like they truly know each other inside and out and who only have to look at each other to know what the other is thinking! I absolutely love their ability to laugh and be joyful together.
