Ellen and Johannes first met each other through a mutual friend and started writing each other and getting to know each other better online. They have now been together for over three years, and I love their sweetness, silliness and happiness together! Johannes lives in Denmark and Ellen lives in the Netherlands, but any chance they get they are visiting each other and I was so lucky to get to photograph them in Denmark over the holidays right before Ellen headed to the airport to catch her flight back home.

I am thrilled with how many intimate, quiet and sweet moments we were able to capture in our time together, but I also LOVE how joyful the two of them were! They both have such great smiles. Also, I have to give Johannes a major shoutout for his bowtie!
