If you know me, you know that I absolutely love receiving hand-written letters! When I was younger I would sit in the basement of my grandparents’ home and look through the handwritten letters of generations since past. I found it absolutely marvelous that although these people who had once written these letters, words, and sentences had passed on, that their personality still somehow seemed to linger in the text they had left behind.
There is something so beautifully personal about a hand-written letter. The hand moving in swift motions across the paper, curving the letters in ink as it goes. Today it was rainy and grey outside, and although I actually quite appreciate that sort of weather, I took some time to sit down inside, under a cozy blanket on the couch to write some handwritten “Thank You” cards to my family and to all of you to send along with my client appreciation packages. I can’t wait to send them off, and hope that these notes might bring a little piece of joy to your mailboxes 🙂
