When she first opened the door, she took a small step back in shock as we all blurted out “surprise!” It took Maria a moment to realize what was going on, but as her eyes passed from familiar face to familiar face of some of her closest friends and family surrounded by confetti balloons and clouds of pink decor the biggest smile spread across her face!

Last time I was in Frankfurt after I took MATERNITY PICTURES FOR ARNE AND MARIA, we celebrated Maria’s pregnancy with a surprise baby shower!

Two weeks ago their precious baby girl joined their family and last week they announced her arrival to the world, and I am so incredibly excited for this little family of three to move through life together!

I was in love with the pink, white and gold details at her shower, and of course had to bring out the camera to capture just a few images and memories! Also, anytime there is a flower crown involved my heart smiles- I just love florals! It was the perfect little addition, and doesn’t Maria look just absolutely gorgeous?

Maria’s maid-of-honor from her wedding several years ago had picked the color scheme and had organized the whole ideal without her best friend knowing! I was impressed! Maria’s mother-in-law cooked the morning away to prepare a delicious brunch. There was so much love put into this celebration, and it truly was such a wonderful day filled with so much joy and happiness in anticipation of their little girl’s arrival. It was so special to have been able to be there and to feel of this excitement! I hope you all are able to also feel this atmosphere as you look through the pictures.
