Surrounded by a panorama view of the lake and the ones they love-including their rescue beagle Dobby-, Lena and Julian stood in the middle of the pavilion-style building with stars in their eyes and spoke their forever “yes” to each other. Together with the officiant they tied a knot as a symbol of their commitment to each other and as a symbol of their love, it was the kind of knot that only gets tighter when pressure is applied.

Lena and Julian have the kind of ambition in life and love for each other that can move mountains. The kind of love that sits up late at night and strokes your back while you exhaustedly push through to finish your PhD. The kind of love that kisses you on your forehead and immediately makes you feel safe. The kind of love that calls you in the middle of the day to tell you something very important, when in reality all they want is to simply hear your voice.

Their wedding was luxurious and lavish. From the moment I stepped into the Finley White House I felt like I had entered the home of a celebrity, and Lena and Julian looked every bit the part! 

After the ceremony the couple took a ride on a gorgeous wooden speedboat while the guests went on a boat tour as well. As we sped across the lake I snapped a few wedding portraits of them. Dinner was a delicious five course meal, the speeches of the parents were filled with adoration, love and humor. The cake was beautiful and classy and the first dance was romantic and sweet. 

At the end of the night Lena and Julian exited the venue under a sea of sparklers and drove away into the night in their strech limousine.
