For the past month Jan and I have been traveling to several different Christmas markets in and near Frankfurt [check out my video from the Bad Homburg christmas market here]. We decided at the very beginning of the holiday season in November that we wanted to focus on experiences and togetherness throughout the season rather than gifts and the stress that often otherwise follows Christmas preparations or finding the “perfect” gift. Going to christmas markets in and near Frankfurt has been a way for us to spend and enjoy time together, and a way to soak up the holiday cheer and atmosphere of glee. I hope that this video adequately portrays some of the coziness of the Frankfurt christmas market, because although busy it truly is one of my favorite markets and even though Christmas day might have already come and gone this year, it is my hope that the feeling of coziness, togetherness, and joy lingers long into the new year.
