If you haven’t already, be sure to check out part one of this family’s session! We started out their session inside capturing some precious christmassy moments baking, decorating the tree, and cozying up together.

The forecast had promised rain all day, but towards the end of our session as if by a miracle the rain cleared up and we headed outside in the chill for a few outdoor captures. I am so glad that we did, because I am in love with the joy these pictures seem to radiate!

It was such a joy getting to capture this wonderful family, and to share these moments of happiness and coziness with them! Their love for each other is so obvious and so obviously strong. When I asked them what their favorite Christmas song was, Jeanette said Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas is You.” They are fighting especially hard for this togetherness this year as Martin is going through his second brutal battle with cancer.
