Stormy Evening Wedding Portraits in Ebeltoft, Denmark || Cecilie and Simon

As promised, here is part II of Simon and Cecilie’s wedding– their evening portraits! As I mentioned in their first wedding blog, although we were able to capture lots of portraits earlier in the day, we all went outside again in the evening when the light had softened a bit and captured a few more. OK, a lot more. But let’s be honest, who has ever been upset about an abundance of great wedding portraits?;)
We waited until close to sunset and because it had been sunny and clear skies all day, we were expecting the last rays of the sun setting- instead we got a storm pulling in. The storm clouds ended up covering most of the sun, BUT we were able to get some epic shots right before the storm started. Minutes after we finished their session it started pouring and the winds were crazy! It was kind of MAGICAL taking pictures in this weather!
With the clear blue skies earlier in the day, and the soft light of the evening and then the dark stormy clouds later, we were able to get so much variety in Cecilie and Simon’s pictures! I am so glad we decided to go outside again for a few more shots in the evening! I love the way these two interact with each other, how easygoing and loving they are and it was such a JOY spending the day with them!
