Family Session in Silkeborg | Maj, Benjamin and Valdemar

This was one of those sessions that I walked away from smiling ear-to-ear!
A few weeks ago while I was in Denmark, I visited Silkeborg where I got to reconnect with a friend and to take pictures of her and her gorgeous and sweet family of three! I have the best memories with Maj and look back on our friendship so fondly, so I was absolutely thrilled that I was able to reconnect with her and meet and capture some images of her, Benjamin and their sweet son, Valdemar!
We took their pictures in Silkeborg in the beautiful nature off of the Kjellerupstien, where they often stroll along as a family. Even though it was extremely warm, we really couldn’t have asked for better weather for our session together! It was beautifully sunny, the grass was perfectly green and an occasional soft breeze rustled the leaves of the surrounding trees. The field was scattered with sheep and their bleating softly echoed off of the rolling hills (Why don’t pictures capture sound too?!)
The scene felt almost idyllic and was the best backdrop for this family session! It was so obvious to me how much love Maj and Benjamin have both for each other and for Valdemar, and it was such a privilege to be able to capture that love! This was a session with lots of smiles, laughter, kisses and joy- the best!
Hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them, and that Valdemars rosy cheeks, spiky blonde hair, and deep blue eyes make you smile as much as I did looking through these pictures!
