Cecilie and Simon | Engagements in Aarhus

Hi Dreamers!
It’s time for another engagement blog post, and I am so excited to share this one with all of you!
A few weeks ago while in Denmark I got to meet up with Cecilie and Simon for an engagement photoshoot. Simon proposed to Cecilie on New Year’s Eve right before midnight, which is also Cecilie’s birthday- how sweet and romantic is that? And Dreamer by Day Photography will be shooting their wedding at the end of July in Denmark (can’t wait!), and I was so excited to get to meet them and capture some engagement pictures for them before their big day next month!
Cecilie and Simon are such a laid-back, fun, sweet – and absolutely stunning – couple and I really had so much fun hanging out with them and getting to know them a little better! They are the kind of people that you meet and instantly feel comfortable with and excited to be with!
As we were talking, I learned that they really enjoy traveling together- especially to the U.S. Cecilie went to several different states in the U.S. before knowing Simon, and for the past 5 years while they’ve been together they’ve traveled back to a lot of those same places- this time to experience them together.
I love that! I think that a big part of love is wanting to share experiences with those we care about- when adventuring together becomes more enjoyable than adventuring alone.
