After a day spent wandering and exploring Paris together, Jenny and Nils sat on their balcony overlooking the city, enjoying champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries and reminiscing over the past 10 years they had spent together as a couple. Nils then turned to Jenny and asked her a question that would forever change the course of their lives . . .

One of my favorite things about Jenny and Nils is their openness towards the world and their love for travel! They have visited over a dozen countries together, and even spent several month living together in a van while traveling the Australien coast! Their very first trip together was to Paris, and just last year they went back to the city of love where they returned from as an engaged couple! I don’t think it gets much more romantic than a parisian proposal over champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!

I met Jenny & Nils for the first time in Flensburg at Cafe Extrablatt where we talked all about their dreams and wishes for their summer wedding! When I first invited them to meet me at this cafe, I had no idea, but coincidentally this exact cafe is where Jenny and Nils met for the first time some 10 years ago! It felt like destiny 😉

Last week we met for our engagement session in downtown Flensburg, and when Jenny and Nils first turned the corner, my jaw dropped! Jenny’s flowy and perfectly pastel dress and Nils’ classy suit jacket and boutonniere. And not to mentioned the flower crown. I am such a fan of the softness that muted colors and flowers can bring to a session, and Jenny and Nils’ outfits were absolutely perfect- And so was the excitement, joy and beautiful smiles that they wore on their faces!

During our session we had a lot of moments of laughter and I love the genuine smiles and joy that we were able to capture together! Jenny and Nils are such a genuine, kind, and fun couple and I cannot wait for their wedding this summer!
