Lena and Julian met while studying and have been together now for 10 years, and it really was so obvious during their session how well they know each other and how comfortable with each other they are! I really got a sense for the unconditional love that they share! It was beautiful to see them interact in such an effortless way that only two people who truly know and truly love each other can💕

They brought along their adorable 8-year-old beagle, Dobby to their session and it was so special to be able to capture this little family of three together! So much happiness and love! Dobby will be at the wedding this summer in the Netherlands as well, and I cannot wait to see this little bundle of joy again!😍

I can’t pass up this opportunity to share Lena and Julian’s engagement story as well! Christmas of 2017, Julian got down on one knee and asked Lena to marry him. He had taken the time to hang up hearts outside marking a path near their house and at night they walked along the path – With Dobby of course – illuminated by the hearts. At the end of the walk Julian proposed, and Lena said yes!

We started our session in Friedberg in front ofthe school where they met all those years ago. They spent hours together on those grounds and shared a lot of special moments on the bridge and under the arches of the Friedberg castle. We made sure to grab a few pictures on the bridge where they used to spend their school breaks talking together and getting to know each other!

After their session at Friedberg castle we headed to a nearby field where some early spring blooms were adorning the scenery, and it made for the perfect romantic setting!
