Beautiful Church Wedding in Karup, Denmark || Julia and Christian ||

I met with Julia and Christian last Friday the day before their wedding to go over some last minute details, and there was a clear atmosphere of beautiful and calm excitement over the couple. Julia and Christian have been together for six years, have four children, and they are absolutely perfect for each other!

I met with Christian in the morning to take a few detail shots of the grooms preparations before heading over to Julia’s place to capture some of the bridal details. At Julia’s place a few tears of joy were already being shed, and there was a wonderful anticipation filling the air. Both the groom and bride had friends and family who had come over to help with the preparations, and it always warms my heart to see the way loved ones come together in support of the couple!

The ceremony was held at Karup Church (Karup Kirke), a quaint but absolutely beautiful church nestled in the heart of the Jutland peninsula in Denmark. I loved seeing the look on Christian’s face as he saw his bride for the first time, walking down the aisle- these kinds of moments are absolutely priceless!

After the ceremony, Julia, Christian and I headed to a nearby location for portraits and we were able to capture some stunning and glowy images of the newlywed couple! Saturday was such a special day and I am so grateful to have had the privilege of photographing this wonderful, loving and kind couple on their big day!

: Julia and Christian’s youngest son, Malthe, was baptized on the same day after the wedding ceremony! The baptism dress has been passed down through generations!
